Harris Computer

OPPORTUNITY

Harris Computer, a prominent technology company, hosted teambuilding programs in San Antonio for a total of 800 employees across September 2023, February 2024, and April 2024. These programs aimed to deliver leadership updates and foster morale within various divisions of the company. Referred by The Saint Anthony Hotel, Harris Computer engaged with CEG to manage and execute these events. With a total of 10 events across three separate programs, the scope of the project was both extensive and complex. The planning process for each program spanned 6 to 8 weeks, demanding precise coordination and efficient execution.

SOLUTION

The emphasis on themed décor and entertainment ensured that each event was memorable and engaging for the attendees. For example, the Harris Leadership Conference in September featured classic San Antonio sights, entertainment, and cuisine, including a private mariachi performance, river barge tours, and a fiesta-themed rooftop opening event with branded maracas. Dine-arounds were the focus of Harris Health Care February. Our team organized reservations with custom menus for over 400 attendees across seven downtown San Antonio restaurants in just under ten days, booking private tables and rooms in two of the locations and buying out the remaining five restaurants. We ended the program with magical reception complete with an old school photo booth, a roaming card shark/magician, tarot and palm readers, and a dueling piano performance. The April 2024 program had a Honkey Tonk-themed closing reception with a country music band, neon cacti signs, a mechanical bull, a BBQ Rub Station, lasso lessons, and line dancing.

Despite tight timelines and multiple concurrent events, CEG successfully delivered standout experiences. Our ability to maintain a consistent planning team that understood the client's unique preferences and expectations highlighted CEG's capability in handling large-scale, multifaceted event management projects. The client expressed high satisfaction with all the programs and indicated a desire to return to San Antonio for future events.

Overall, our efforts garnered over 650,000 paid impressions and reached 723,000 through unpaid media efforts. The media coverage that the client received was entirely positive and totaled to a publicity value of over $350,000. The Kerrville River Festival was mentioned statewide and was even mentioned by The New York Times in a post-eclipse feature.
