DIRECTV Hospitality

OPPORTUNITY

DIRECTV Hospitality sought to host a Dia de los Muertos-themed reception as part of The Hospitality Show at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. This high-profile networking event aimed to impress an exclusive audience of 1,500 hoteliers, executives, and exhibitors, including 300 VIPs. The event needed to reflect DIRECTV Hospitality’s leadership in the entertainment industry, while also incorporating vibrant cultural elements that showcased the spirit of San Antonio. With only three months to plan and execute, The CE Group was tasked with delivering an unforgettable experience that seamlessly balanced logistical challenges and creative excellence.

SOLUTION

The CE Group managed the full scope of event planning and production, from conceptualization to on-site execution. The venue, Tobin Center for the Performing Arts, was selected for its central location and versatile spaces, which accommodated the event’s three zones:

  • McCombs Grand Lobby for general networking and activations.
  • Carlos Alvarez Theater for the exclusive VIP experience.
  • H-E-B Performance Hall for immersive entertainment.
  • The East Rotunda was also utilized as a space for guests to enjoy the World Series Game, ensuring there was something for everyone.
