With a different theme each year, the CE Group has designed, planned, and produced an unforgettable Witte Game Dinner experience year after year resulting in success. For the 2024 event, the planning team was challenged with creating a relevant event to the museum that would be hosted at an off-site location in an effort to host more attendees.

SOLUTION

The CE Group has a deep relationship with the Witte Museum spanning many years working on a number of events, campaigns, grand openings, and more. The annual Witte Game Dinner is a staple in San Antonio that has now surpassed 50 years.

For 2024, the event was selected to be hosted at MiraFlores Park. The park offered a great location close to the Witte Museum and was secluded within its gates but located in a highly visible area off of Hildebrand Avenue. The event theme went hand in hand with the park’s history and allowed for many unique opportunities to make the new event location relevant and seemingly intentional to the evening.

The CE Group Event team coordinated efforts between the San Antonio Parks Department, Witte Museum and numerous rentals vendors to clean up park grounds. The task list included filling holes, mowing, adding ground cover, picking up brush and debris, trimming trees, cleaning up existing sculptures and structures, and more. The grounds were successfully cleaned up in a timely manner and hosted over 800 event attendees for the evening.
