OPPORTUNITY

The CE Group was responsible for creating an unforgettable 50th anniversary Witte Game Dinner adapted to incorporate pandemic precautions and regulations.

The CE Group surpassed health and safety guidelines outlined by the City of San Antonio, making the Witte Game Dinner the only official outdoor event approved by the Metro Health Department since COVID-19 impacted the event industry.

SOLUTION

We have been the Witte Museum’s logistical and event partner for more than five years, assisting with a number of events annually. However, this event was a new challenge as we adjusted to pandemic precautions and regulations. To make the event a success, we moved the event outdoors, decreased the number of in person guests, and added the Virtual Porch Party Package – allowing museum patrons to enjoy the festivities from the comfort of their homes. Our Events team was responsible for the planning, production and execution of this event which called for immense detail in the planning and production, run of show development, catering, and décor coordination. The live event featured wild game menu items, campfires, and live Texas country music by Robert Earl Keen. We worked closely with our audio-visual partners to ensure flawless video streaming of the event program.

Our Creative Services conceptualized the event identity “Back To Our Roots,” which was incorporated throughout the festivities from guest correspondence and bar signage to social distancing floor decals and event advertising. The colorful branding celebrated Texas icons and the longstanding history of the Witte Game Dinner.
