OPPORTUNITY

Our client presented us with the opportunity to showcase our full line of services ranging from airport arrival and departure transportation and staffing, onsite events, a gifting program, and tours.

SOLUTION

Our team provided the client with a full-service incentive program for their top performers and their plus ones. While the client requested the best of the best, budget was also a top priority. Our job was to deliver on this by providing several options that would give their guests an optimal experience while staying within the fiscal constraints.

CEDMC presented options for individual airport transfers and shuttle transfers. The client opted for a shuttle transportation system that had a vehicle available every 30 minutes for airport pick-ups. We also provided our best staff to welcome guests, help them with luggage, and direct them to the vehicles.

The gifting experience we delivered was top-notch. The client wanted something other than the typical Jim Maui Sunglasses or branded Yeti tumblers – they wanted something that truly represented our destination. What we delivered was a pop-up western shop complete with cowboy hats and pearl snap shirts, as well as western style belts, purses, jewelry, clothing, and accessories. There were several associates on hand to help guests select an item of their liking and assist with fitting and steaming of the hats. While this pop-up shop was spendy – we were able to stay within budget by providing a wide range of prices and had all price tags removed so that guests could not see how much the merchandise cost.

The onsite event was an elevated Fiesta experience that also highlighted the destination. We transformed a hotel ballroom into a “Niosita”, a small-scale version of San Antonio’s iconic NIOSA event. It featured a pinata entrance, oversized pinata donkey, papel picado, a branded Mexican-style bar, string lights for ambiance, immersive activations, such as a flower crown making station, a cigar rolling station, and even tequila tastings.

Our tour program for this group allowed guests to experience several aspects of our city. We provided a downtown tour that featured culture and history, a tour that allowed guests to experience immersive art, and a tour that brought out the competitive nature of some with a pickle ball challenge. The tour guests really enjoyed was a tour that featured the Pearl district – home to unforgettable cuisine, rich history, curious articles, and all the charm of South Texas.
