About Janet:

In San Antonio, Janet's name is synonymous with the city's premier projects and being a leading event expert throughout Texas and the country. Her entrepreneurial spirit has launched the company into many areas of event based marketing, including its five core services: Event & Production Management, National Sports Marketing, Destination Management, Venue Management and Public Relations. Businesses seek Janet's creative expertise to create compelling events with her signature style and they look to her attention to details and strong organizational skills to ensure all projects deliver results. For 20 years Janet and The CE Group have played a leading role in some of the city's most celebrated hallmarks - the grand openings of the Alamodome, The Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center Expansion, San Antonio Central Library and the Museum Reach of the San Antonio River. Janet's talent and creative resources have been a force in notable San Antonio projects including Luminaria: Arts Night in San Antonio, Fiesta, NCAA Men's and Women's Final Four along with countless corporate campaigns.

About Cassie:

Cassie Hager is the Senior Project Manager of the Events and Production Management team. Her experience in working with numerous organizations has enabled her to develop a unique skill of evaluating client needs and assembling a team that fits the project to produce efficient and cohesive results. Even off the job Cassie loves entertaining in her home and knows how to keep friends happy with fabulous meals.

About Julie:

Julie is the Senior Account Manager of the Destination: San Antonio team. She has been in the tourism industry for over twenty-six years, leaving her not only with experience in destination management, sales, planning and operations, and client management, but repeat clients that include CBS, AT&T, Wells Fargo, Genentech and Blue Cross Blue Shield. Whenever she has a free moment you will usually find her on Highway 21 headed to College Station to check on her son, Jake, a student at Texas A&M.

About Lainey:

Lainey Berkus brings more than 35 years of intellectual and leadership experience as a marketing and public relations expert. Her professional and award winning performance in media relations, branding, strategic positioning, partnership marketing and producing communication road maps is what defines her talent. She brings quality and consistent service and demonstrates accountable results working in a partnership with clients. The hallmarks of Lainey's work set her apart as a person and a professional. Her personal commitment to San Antonio and the community are evident in her partnerships. For every commercial project she often involves a nonprofit.

About Christa:

Christa Scannell is the Director of the National Sports Marketing team with over 14 years in sports event management, creating and implementing signature programs which have become integral components of local, regional and national event strategies and marketing plans and campaigns. When she is not working on sports she is watching her three boys develop into athletes in every sport.

About David:

David Weir is the Controller of The CE Group. As a retired U.S. Army Reserve Lieutenant Colonel, David brings over 30 years of accounting and finance experience to The CE Group. He is married, has three daughters, and seven grandchildren.

About Christyn:

Christyn Baer is a Senior Project Manager on the Events and Production Management team, with a focus on sport-related projects. Her passion for sports and knowledge of events has made her a leader in many CE Projects including the NCAA Final Four, the Tesoro Charity Golf Classic, and various Special Olympics programs. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Chris and playing with their child Beasley (a yellow lab).

About Maritza:

Maritza Quiroz is a Senior Project Manager for the Events and Production Management team. She is the production specialist on the team, helping to ensure all production projects are seamless and clients' objectives are met. Projects have included NCAA Final Four Big Dance 2008, a four day outdoor concert series, working with exclusive corporate champions/sponsors. Most recently she produced the 2nd Annual Rock & Roll Marathon San Antonio outdoor stages and the post concert at the Alamodome. When she isn't running after her teenage twins she enjoys giving her time back to the community raising money for education initiatives.

About Natalie:

Natalie Scott is the Austin Project Manager for the Events and Production Management team. Natalie brings her knowledge and years of experience in the event industry to Austin clients managing events such as AT&T Keep Austin Weird, Seton Medical Center Hays Grand Openings and the Westin at the Domain Grand Opening. In her free time she is a craft-a-holic sewing homemade gifts her co-workers love to buy!

About Tammy:

Tammy Hill is a Project Manager for Destination: San Antonio. She operates everything from pre-event to post event including tours, dinners, teambuilding activities, incentive trips and transportation. Tammy's favorite job at CE Group is planning happy hours and fun events for the entire office whether it's a birthday or just an ordinary day of the week.

About Nancy:

Nancy Baca is the Public Relations Operations Manager / Internship Coodinator for the Public Relations and Marketing team. Nancy manages communication campaigns and works effectively with print, radio and TV media on securing interviews to tell the great stories behind the work for our clients and nonprofits. Nancy also oversees The CE Group Internship Program company wide. In her off time, Nancy enjoys spending time with her three grandkds, gardening, reading and traveling.

About Shane:

Shane Kyle is the Creative Services Manager for the Public Relations and Marketing team, as well as the internal event photographer. Capturing every angle at each event and helping clients expand their brand across a wide range of deliverables, he can be considered a man of many hats. One of his main hats is graphic design, majoring on Event Identity and signage production. Married with 3 young boys, running around at events is a piece of cake compared to his job at home!

About Margie:

Margie Benson is the Office Administrator for The CE Group. Margie comes to CE Group with 30 years of office administrative experience. She is known in the office as "Mamma Margie" since she tries to take care of everyone. In her spare time she loves to run, work out in the gym, read and spend time with family and friends.

About Julie:

Julie Pierce is the Project Finance Coordinator for The CE Group. Julie acts as a liaison between the Project Managers and the Accounting department and oversees all projects from start to closeout; handling billing and all vendor payables, tracking expenses and ensuring invoicing is timely. In her spare time, she enjoys watching sports, keeping up with her three sons, spoiling Bailey the dog and Hulk the cat and savoring a good chicken caesar salad (dressing on the side).

About Krista:

Krista Friedman is a Project Manager for the Events and Production Management team. She has a background in venue and event activation at Pearl and is a fourth generation Baylor University graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design. Outside of work, she spends time with her large family and friends and loves spoiling her dog, Charlie.

About Ashley:

Ashley Quinn is a Project Manger for the Events & Production team. She coordinates and creatively executes logistics for events both large and small. When she's not working, she's busy cooking up new recipes, wrestling with her three Maltese and designing repurposed vintage dresses and funky pillow cases.

About Jessica:

Jessica Henning is a Project Coordinator for the Creative Services department. With a background in design layout, she executes projects in a timely manner ensuring the client's satisfaction down to every detail. Outside of work, she spends time with her husband, son and three dogs and tries to capture the moments through her love of scrapbooking.

About Valerie:

Valerie Grant is a Public Relations Associate for the Public Relations and Marketing team. Valerie has an in depth knowledge of the industry and believes client satisfaction is obtained through an understanding of the client’s goals, creative solutions and accountability. In her off time, she enjoys biking with her family along the San Antonio River and is self-managing the remodeling of her home.

About Maggie:

Maggie Burnett is the Project Closeout Manager for The CE Group. Maggie helps organize the office by archiving events and projects. Her logistical expertise keeps the CE records in order and available to everyone in the office. She enjoys spending time with family, cooking, reading and helping lead a faith-based Moms' Group.
