BOERNE, TEXAS—(Oct. 31, 2011)—The Resort at Tapatio Springs has been revived and renewed! On Friday, Nov. 11, George and Norma Strait and Tom and Silvia Cusick will host the ribbon cutting and grand reveal of this newly-renovated 250-acre Texas Hill Country gem.

The ribbon cutting ceremony will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by the reveal at 11:11 a.m. and tours of the property. The event is open to guests and members of the media at no cost.

Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, Tapatio Springs is home to 27 holes of golf, a resort hotel, more than 20,000 square feet of convention and meeting facilities, tennis courts, swimming pool and a fitness center. Since purchasing the resort in April 2011, Strait and Cusick have been hard at work transforming the property into the magnificent marvel it is today.

“Tom and I always believed that Tapatio Springs could be a true Texas treasure,” Strait said. “The renovations are incredible and we can’t wait to share the rebirth of the resort with our members and visitors. The guest and golf experience at Tapatio Springs is now unparalleled.”

Upon entering the newly-remodeled resort, guests are greeted by a beautiful cascading water feature and gas-flaming columns. The calming ambience continues inside the clubhouse in La Cascada Restaurant, where the dining area overlooks a stunning outdoor waterfall. Guests opting for a more scenic view of the Texas Hill Country can visit TaPatio—the perfect spot for enjoying a Texas sunset and relaxing by the warm stone fireplace.
